“Going Dutch”
As an advocate of female independence, I find that my unremitting principles with regard a woman’s right - nay, obligation - to subsist elle-même, tend to be conveniently waived when venturing into the realms of dating. Every lady loves to be treated, but this is fundamentally an expression of the female psyche, & in essence, her inate biology. I might be getting a little ahead of myself here, but hear me out.
